Fireworks go off as Capital Cities "VOWELS" plays in the arena. The crowd cheers loudly.

 

 

Simon: Welcome welcome WELCOME to a special House Show. We thought we were gonna be off the air after everything that went down at Heart Condition. I'm still processing it all. So for now regular MAWL is on hold, but we'll return to you as soon as we can and in the meantime, we've got this Alphabet Cup taking place right here in New Jersey. 

 

Kendra's defection means she's off the announcing squad now and going to be recalibrating her ring career, and it sounds like Lenny's got the ring bug too...and I myself may be moving to 404 full-time...so we're going to figure out our more consistent team but I'm happy as all get out to have Ash Greaves-Orleans here in the booth as we at least get to call the Alphabet Cup together.

 

 

Ash: Happy to be here!  And we're also joined by Valerie Thomas. 

 

 

Valerie: This is certainly gonna be something. What exactly are we getting into?

 

Simon: So it's a team cup, with each letter facing off against each other letter in a series of matches... a singles match, a tag team match, a trios match, a 4 on 4, and a 5 of 5. The trios match is fought under all-in rules, which means that no one can be pinned or submitted until everyone has been legal, and the 4 on 4 is elimination style, with each elimination counting for a point in addition to a point for winning the match itself. So there's a maximum of 17 points that a team can obtain each set - 1 for the singles, 2 for tag, 3 for trio and a maximum of 5 and 6 for the winning team of the 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 survivor series respectively. 

 

Ash: That's insane! I imagine that the quick-tags are especially important for the all-in.

 

Valerie: Agreed Ash. It's also gonna be a loooong night.

 

Simon: Well, there are some safeguards there to move it along. With 13 sets of matches, it's gonna be an all-fight situation. There are no interviewers here today and mics will not be provided to wrestlers. They're coming in to kick ass. A cell will raise and lower between each match in the set, with the remaining teams in the dugout. And the entrance music will be based on the individuals in the 1 on 1 match as the de facto "captain" of that day. 

 

Valerie: Gonna be real interesting to see if these teams can get along. They're grouped by first initial so it's truly going to be a ragtag, hope you survive this sorta event.

 

Ash: I think that the desire to win will probably outweigh any personal gripes, but yeah, especially in a loss situation, gonna be a long flight to the next event. And with the fallout from DOH and Heart Condition who's really to say what's gonna happen. But there's only one way to find out. Darling, care to do the honors?

 

 

Sheri: Welcome to the Alphabet Cup! The sets of matches will take place in increasing order of size, with a maximum of 17 points that can be afforded a team! 

 

 

Black Saber leads his team out first. 

 

 

Simon: Black Saber is constantly reinventing himself, building up his strength, intensifying his focus, and Anti-System saw some solid wins at W2 as a result, bringing home a number of belts. Although they weren't able to hold them too long, they took out a whole federation in that wake. 

 

Valerie: And in normal circumstances here, I'd say he'd be in a good position. But given F's captain... I think he may have to consider his point lost and count on his teammates to pull it out of the sack this time. 

 

The lights cut. Glass shatters. Then, seemingly of nowhere...

 

 

Fracture appears in the ring. His team, confused, are in the dugout.

 

Ash: Not for nothing, it's not a sign of weakness to just leave if you know you've been beaten.

 

Valerie: I don't think it's in Saber's vocabulary to admit such a thing. 

 

Match 1: Black Saber vs Fracture

 

The bell rings!

 

Simon: This is the ultimate show in drawing the short straw. 

 

Ash: Fracture is moving at such a speed, it's almost like four of him are in the ring.

 

Valerie: I bet Team S is wishing they'd convinced Sombras to join them. Saber attempting to swing, but he's not sure who he's trying to hit, Fracture off the ropes, SPRINGBOARD CORKSCREW CUTTER! NEBULA SPLITTER AND THAT'S GONNA BE ALL SHE WROTE!

 

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Fracture wins by Pinfall! B 0 F 1

 

Simon: Saber was discombobulated, and I don't think he's even quite aware of what happened.

 

Ash: We just watched him glitch in real time, so I don't think any of us are. But he's coming to, and Fracture's already in his team's box. A quick start for Team F, but not unrecoverable for Team B. 

 

Match 2: Bones Broads vs Fisher Cuttle and Fossa

 

Simon: Betsy and Fossa to start. Fossa with an Irish Whip, Betsy goes a-runnin' and flies right on back, ducks the boot, back around and a high knee to the chin of Fossa! Fossa with a quick roundhouse sweep takes Betsy down, but Bessie right into the ring with a forearm shot to keep Fossa from taking it any further. Betsy pops back up and a throat punch to punctuate it, Fossa stumbles back and Betsy just SHOVES her into the corner.

 

Valerie: These ladies are from the Boneyard and they are brutal, a foot choke and tag in to Bessie, Bessie takes over the rope choke and Carter starting to get in her face, Bessie releases it but shoulder checks Fossa right back into the corner. 

 

Ash: They don't want Fisher to see the inside of the ring. Tag right back in to Betsy, Betsy drops Fossa with a Belly to Belly Suplex, and continuing the quick tags right back to Bessie, Bessie up to the top rope and a fist drop.

 

Simon: Fossa is in a lot of trouble, but she's gonna need to fight back a little bit instead of just trying for the tag and that's what she does, she gets the armbar locked in and starting to put the hurt on Bessie. OOH but Betsy right in with the boot. These sisters have each others' backs, and it's going to be very difficult to break through that. Fossa trying to crawl to her corner, Bessie launches her right back, they lift Fossa up and Double Sky High Chokeslam! 

 

Valerie: This concludes our Broadcast Day! 

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! TH-

 

Ash: Cuttle interrupts! He's looking for an encore, well he's gonna get one and he eats the This Concludes Our Broadcast Day too!

 

Simon: Bessie pulls Fossa up, that Glasgow Kiss that she calls the Bonehead and rolls Fossa right back up!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE! 

 

Bessie Bones wins by Pinfall! B 2 F 1

 

Simon: Sometimes you roll the bones, sometimes the Bones roll you. 

 

Valerie: This is where it starts to get interesting though. Now it's no more quick matches. No more squashes. This is the first of many, many All In Tag Matches where everyone has to enter the ring before any falls will be counted. And then the last two matches are Survivor Series tags. 

 

Ash: It would behoove you to make quick tags to keep yourself fresh, throw momentum, unless you're in it for the sake of punishing your opponent but I would not fool around on a 2-1. Maybe if you were going in 3-0, but neither team can afford to give this one up.

 

Match 3: Bianca Diaz, BJ He, Barclay Stockett vs Fuka, Freewheelin' Destiny Thien, Faith

 

Valerie: This is seemingly the most random collection of this set, but I guess every wedding has the leftovers table.

 

Simon: Bianca and BJ happy to let Barclay start, Faith and Destiny letting Fuka start.

 

Ash: The mean girls letting the kind one do the work in the group project, shocking. But they're gonna have to get in the ring in order for this one to end.

 

Simon: Barclay with a flip and an arm drag, Fuka rolling right up and arm drag right back, Barclay bouncing up back and a dropkick pushing Fuka backwards, Barclay in her corner looking for a tag, Bianca trying to hand her something but she moves back from it and tags Bianca in the shoulder, Bianca the legal one now and you can see her mouthing "watch this" to Barclay.

 

Ash: I think trying to give her a little education as she gets Fuka by the ponytail, gets her away from her corner and launches her with a hair whip.

 

Valerie: Barclay would be wise to listen, Bianca's been doing this a long time.

 

Simon: Bianca pushing Fuka's chin back with her boot, Carter warning her off she lets go but a face wash. Fuka struggling back to her feet, Bianca gets the head now and Dragon Sleeper, no submission can be called until everyone fights and with that, Faith and Destiny not feeling the fire in their bellies to help her out of this, Fuka's gonna have to fight this one on her own.

 

Ash: Long term that's not gonna be great for the team, Fuka struggling to get to the ropes and Bianca with a throat chop slowing her down and wrenching her back now, Bianca would be content to just absolutely break Fuka even if it's not a win just yet.

 

Simon: Fuka finally making it to the ropes, and now Bianca has to let go.

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! 

 

Valerie: Bianca lets go, Fuka rolls out to the apron, bouncing up onto the apron and Spinning Heel Kick takes Bianca off her feet, Fuka taking a run and oh Faith tags herself in, I don't know if even Fuka was aware, huracanrana to Bianca and right into the Hi Top Brogue Kick whatever you wanna call it, Bianca down and she is clearly making the choice between staying in to prevent a fall and getting out to prevent an injury. 

 

Simon: Of course, there's the other option, tagging Barclay back in, and that's the road she chooses. Barclay in with a huracanrana, rolls back to her feet, Faith ready for her and full nelson suplex. Barclay never stops moving though, that's the energy that made her so good at Ninja Warrior, cartwheel back to her feet and going for a jumping roundhouse but Faith catches her out into a Powerbomb!

 

Valerie: Barclay may be a Ninja Warrior but Faith is a former champion and that holds more weight here. 

 

Ash: Oh yeah. That title that Wonderwolf beat her for his second attempt and more to the point the one that Nero blew up at Heart Condition. 

 

Valerie: Win's a win's a win. 

 

Simon: Faith now with a tag to Freewheelin' Destiny Thien, the only one not to be in this match yet is BJ He, Thien with a Mushroom Stomp. 

 

Valerie: Thien was one of the people to get a visit in the training center last year from the superstars on the way to Mayday. She and two of the others from that day excelled in their training and have come into play as DTF, but Destiny now is working with another team. Thien with a knee drop to the throat of Stockett, picking her up by the hair and slamming her face into the turnbuckle! And just bludgeoning her with several smashes, oh but an elbow to the midsection by Barclay and switching positions. Bianca barking orders to go for the throat, Barclay hesitates and half a huracanrana by Destiny drives her head back into the buckle! What an innovative maneuver and we have a tag back to Faith, Tarantula stretching Barclay over the ropes and mid kick by Faith.

 

Ash: They should really invest in forcing BJ into this match, so they can end this thing. 

 

Simon: Faith has Stockett hooked up, and Faith Breaker! She can't pin her until BJ has been legal, and Faith knows that, and BJ knows that, BJ has no real incentive to tag in before they get the upper hand. Faith hooking her up, and she's gonna hit her with it again, Stockett finds it in herself to get the back body drop and it gives her the breakaway to go for the hot tag, OH but BJ jumps off the apron! Bianca tags herself back in. 

 

Valerie: Float over neckbreaker by Bianca! She's got her up and going for the BDE!!! That inverted Cross Rhodes that'll render you flaccid, and she blasts her with it! Faith bounces off the mat with a thud. Bianca with a run, split leg shotgun dropkick takes Fuka and Freewheelin' off the apron, NOW she tags in BJ He! BJ directs Bianca and Barclay to the two at the outside, here they go to run interference and it's an all out brawl, BJ gets Faith up for the Blowhole, her take on the Black Hole Slam, oh but some disagreement going on outside.

 

Simon: Bianca is trying to get Barclay to hit Fuka with a chair and she won't do it! She's refusing to take that way out!

 

Ash: I respect the hell out of this.

 

Valerie: Yeah well BJ's now distracted by the commotion, Faith rolls her up! Barclay's refusal to step in line may have just cost the team!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Faith wins by Pinfall! B 2 F 4

 

Valerie: And this is exactly what we mean by a long ride. Team B is already in disharmony, and that's just cost them a considerable win.

 

Simon: Now, this next match is essentially a must-win situation for Team B. If they lose, even if they eliminate all but 1, they will be in a huge disadvantage, a 4 point deficit which will mean that if they lose more than one person, the best they could hope for is an overall tie. 

 

Ash: But, if you look at the relative lineups, Team B are going into this next match on paper with a major advantage. It would be a HUGE upset for Team F to beat Team B in this next one. 

 

Match 4: Built in Blood (Blood Drawn, Big Eyan, Brick Benson, Bowen Baneclaw) vs Fire Squad (Firefox, Fire Marshall Ruth, Fuji, Fuego Azul)

 

Simon: Big Eyan and Fuji to start. Two big men that have a hell of a lot of anger in their blood, and Big Eyan puts an equally big boot to Fuji. Scooping Fuji up, looking for a Spinebuster I think but Fuji reversing into a DDT. Eyan to his feet, oh he's staying low, Fuji looking for a running knee EYAN POPS HIM UP AND SAMOAN DROP!! Going for the cover-

 

Carter: ONE!

 

Ash: Fuji shoulders out, Eyan not deterred and pulls him up, we're going spinning and BIG BADA BOOM SLAM!!! 

 

Valerie: Firefox running in to break up a potential pin but Blood Drawn blocks his way and Eyan covers!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Big Eyan eliminates Fuji! B 3 F 4

 

Firefox enters the match.

 

Ash: Fox was the one standing there and now he's the one that gets to see Big Eyan. He's trying to nope out with a tag, Eyan pulls him in with a ripcord and a chokeslam! Going for a quick pin but Fox shoulders up before the 1 and tries to roll him into a pin- Eyan kicks out there easily.

 

Simon: What's that smell... oh Firefox puts on a rather damp looking glove HE SETS IT ON FIRE! GOING FOR A BURNING MANDIBLE CLAW HE CALLS THE FOXGLOVE!!! Blood and Benson running in but Eyan can't take it and taps before they get to him.

 

Firefox eliminates Big Eyan! B 3 F 5

 

Bowen Baneclaw enters the match.

 

Ash: Bowen rushing in and right out with a Leg Lariat wiping Firefox out, going straightaway for a pin-

 

Carter: ONE!

 

Valerie: Ruth breaks up the pin with a stomp, Bowen keeps Firefox down and locks in the Sharpshooter, Firefox is tapping out!

 

Bowen eliminates Firefox! B 4 F 5

 

Fuego Azul enters the match.

 

Simon: Right into Bowen's arms and he drops her with a Spinebuster! Going right for the cover-

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! 

 

Valerie: Fuego gets her shoulder up, and prevents Bowen from tying the score, Bowen gets in Carter's face about the count FUEGO ROLLS HIM UP! But he kicks out before one. 

 

Ash: Bowen to his feet and scoop slam to Fuego and locks the Sharpshooter in on her! A quick wrench and I hear a snap!! Fuego taps!!!

 

Bowen eliminates Fuego Azul! B 5 F 5

 

Fire Marshall Ruth enters the match.

 

Valerie: Bowen has gotten the score tied up with the last two eliminations and barely taken any damage himself. Headbutt to Ruth. Bowen looking to tag out, shouldn't have turned his back on Ruth and eats a fire boot to the back. Bowen spins around and drops her back with a clothesline.

 

Simon: Ruth with a drop toe hold, Bowen catches her leg and back body drop. He's got that Sharpshooter right back in! If he can make her tap, that's one more point plus a point for winning the match and Team B is back on top! OH RUTH ROLLS HIM UP INTO A PRAWN HOLD I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!

 

Ash: He kicks out before one. Stomp to Ruth on his way up. Ruth attempts to roll her up but he sits on her! She kicks out before one, getting Bowen on her shoulders, runs him back full speed into the turnbuckle!! FIRE TRUCK!! Going for the pin-BOWEN REVERSES!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! 

 

Simon: Ruth kicks out! Ruth catches Bowen with a Double Axe Handle. Bowen tags in Blood Drawn, DOUBLE POWERBOMB and Blood with the pin! Ruth kicks before 1! Unbelievable!!

 

Ash: Blood Drawn lifts her up in a Fireman Carry, and the Cutter!! The Descent!!! Going for the pin FIRE MARSHALL RUTH ROLLS HIM BACK! BUT BLOOD ROLLS AGAIN AND REVERSES THE REVERSE!

 

Valerie: All that and neither of them even gets a 1 count. But Ruth does get Blood Drawn up into the Fireman's Carry and a ride on the Fire Truck!!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO!

 

Simon: Blood Drawn reverses it!!!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Blood Drawn eliminates Fire Marshall Ruth for the win! B 7 F 5

 

Ash: Been a back and forth, at this point it's a must-win situation to get the ultimate win, if Team F wins, B needs to bring the other team needs to bring it down to a final member to tie. 

 

Match 5: The Bruisers (Big Ricky, Banana Ben, Bonnie Anne Clyde, Byzantine, Brian Storm) vs Fabulously Frozen (Fred Shyrte, Fabulously Matt, Flora Peligrosa, Feedback, Fred Eric Zenith)

 

Simon: Big Ricky and Fabulous Matt to start, Big Ricky catching and a HUGE Front Slam!! Going for an early cover-

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Big Ricky eliminates The Fabulous Matt! B 8 F 5

 

Fred Shyrte enters.

 

Valerie: Fred Shyrte enters with a corkscrew splash landing on Big Ricky! Going for a pin-

 

Carter: ONE!

 

Simon: Ricky reverses but Fred kicks before one. Ricky with a chop to Fred Shyrte then tags Brian Storm in, Shyrte going for the charge but Brian Storm catches him, quick hook and Spinning him in that Fisherman Hold.... PERFECT STORM SUPLEX!!! Going for the pin!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Brian Storm eliminates Fred Shyrte! B 9 F 5

 

Feedback enters. 

 

Ash: Feedback with a spinning DDT to Brian Storm! Everyone going for that quick win and I don't blame 'em, but Storm doesn't stay down cause he's stronger than that. 

 

Valerie: But not strong enough to stop it, Feedback grabs his arm and tags Flora, Flora with a spin kick to the back of the head. 

 

Simon: Brian with the tag, spin and whip Flora into the arms of Byzantine, Byzantine with an EMPIRE SPIKE PILEDRIVER! 

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! 

 

Ash: Zenith with the save, oh good to see that these teams can actually work together. Byzantine pulls up for an Ripcord but Flora able to reverse into a drop toe. 

 

Simon: Byzantine tags Ricky back in, Ricky with a big splash before Flora can fully get up, and going for the cover-

 

Carter: ONE! TWO!

 

Valerie: Feedback saves Flora again, Ricky scoops up Flora up almost immediately... running Dominator! 

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Big Ricky eliminates Flora Peligrosa! B 10 F 5

 

Feedback enters the match. 

 

Simon: Ricky looking for a tag out, but Feedback catches him with a bulldog. Ricky keeps locked on the waist and answers with a back suplex. Pin, but Feedback rolls back out. Ricky undeterred, Blue Thunder Bomb, and going for the pin-

 

Carter: ONE! TWO!

 

Valerie: Shoulder up by Feedback and they aren't giving up yet! Though it being 5 to 2 they probably should. Ricky going for the quick roll-up, but Feedback rolling a reversal into an armbar! Ricky shakes him off easy though, and a quick punch to punctuate. 

 

Simon: Ricky with a tag in to Banana Ben, Banana Ben comes in with the Springboard Superman! FRUIT PUNCH!!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! TH-

 

Valerie: FEEDBACK ROLLS BACK!

 

Carter: ONE!

 

Ash: Banana rolls back again! But Feedback kicks out.

 

Simon: Banana whips Feedback into the corner, tag to Brian Storm, Banana lifting Feedback up to the top, Brian climbs in from the other side.... TOP ROPE AVALANCHE BRAINBUSTER!! BRIANBUSTER!!!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Brian Storm eliminates Feedback! B 11 F 5

 

Fred Eric Zenith enters the ring.

 

Ash: Fred Eric Zenith is the last man standing, and he will need to clean house here. Tall order.

 

Simon: Fred Eric Zenith jumps in with a quick crucifix pin and Brian landed on his head! BUT HE'S STILL ABLE TO REVERSE THE ROLL!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Brian Storm eliminates Fred Eric Zenith! B 13 F 5

 

TEAM B WINS!

 

 

Sheri: Here are your winners, THE B TEAM!!

 

Ash: We had a feeling that the F team, Fracture aside, was not prepared for the B Team and we were right. 

 

Valerie: And we move from this one-sided battle to the Gossip Girl matchup.

 

Simon: Gossip Girl?

 

Valerie: Sorry everyone, Simon's an old. X-O. 

 

Simon: My association was Beyonce. 

 

Ash: Oh! Okay then.

 

Valerie: Pander-monium here at the Alphabet Cup.

 

 

Xander Marks leads his team out.

 

 

Valerie: Let's be real, this is a largely bottom of the barrel grouping.

 

Ash: It was wild to find 15 wrestlers with X names willing to do this to be sure, but there are some standouts here. XEL, Xiva Yi, and the person Xander Marks, who is leading the team this time around in part as a Nation v Nation thing... the leader in this case for O is Onni Peltonen, the Finnish runner. 

 

 

Onni Peltonen leads his team out in a victory jog.

 

 

Valerie: Is he coming out to "On Top of Spaghetti"? 

 

Ash: That's the Chariots of Fire theme song and it's inspirational.

 

Valerie: Yeah, until you lose your poor meatball.

 

Match 1: Xander Marks vs Onni Peltonen

 

Simon: Onni didn't get too much of a chance to have a match in Finland, despite us being in his home country, and I wonder if there is some chip on his shoulder that's going to make this a more brutal endeavor for him.

 

Ash: Sure enough the Finn is running a train of fists on Xander, Irish Whip and a knee to the gut, ripcord and another knee to the gut, twist the arm and Xander is not able to get any momentum going. Xander trying to reverse, gain control of his arm, but Onni is too quick for him and a flip becomes a judo arm flip! Quick roll and pushing himself back on the ropes, Xander catches him out and a spinebuster! 

 

Valerie: Finally some offense from Southern Discomfort! Gets the legs and slingshots him back against the ropes, catching from behind and a Rear Naked, Onni trying to get back to his feet, Xander's got that locked in pretty tight and quick but effective wrenches keeping the track star at bay, oh wait, Onni Peltonen powering up to his feet, Backpack Stunner! 

 

Simon: That's how they do it in Finland! Peltonen gets him back on his back and a Samoan Drop OH Xander attempts to side cradle-

 

Carter: ONE! T-

 

Valerie: Onni rolls out of it and quick jawbreaker to Xander. Pulls him up into an armbar, Xander reverses it out into a hammerlock and a hammerlock DDT. Keeps the arms locked, keeps the HEAD locked, hammerlock sleeperhold Onni powers out of it damn this dude is strong for a wimpy runner and a Northern Lights Suplex!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO!

 

Simon: Xander hooks the leg into a roll up.

 

Carter: ONE! TWO!

 

Ash: Yes! Get on up, Onni! Kip up, Xander goes for the sweep and Onni instinctively jumpropes it, lands down on Xander's leg and oh that'll slow Xander down, Xander going for a run and a floatover snapmare, lands and not a beat missed going for the run and the basement clothesline, still moving, comes back and the running coffin drop! Hooks the leg-

 

Carter: ONE! T-

 

Valerie: Xander rolls him over to a side cradle again but can't keep hold on him! Onni rolls back and a basement enzuigiri!

 

Ash: Ready to admit that Onni is too fast for Xander?

 

Valerie: I wouldn't go that far. 

 

Simon: Onni continuing to run, building up a head of steam now, getting momentum going, oh I think this is his final lap, yes Xander Marks to his feet and Onni outstretching the arms! FINNISH LINE!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Onni Peltonen pins Xander Marks! X 0 O 1

 

Ash: O gets the square!! 

 

Simon: This will put X a bit behind, but as B showed in the last set, this isn't over until it's over. 

 

Valerie: And now it's going to be a battle of the permanently angry.

 

Match 2: X Pert and Xiva Yi vs Oliver Goodman and Orna Rhee

 

Simon: Didn't take much for the four of them to just immediately blast each other, fists flying every where. 

 

Valerie: Orna Rhee is an interesting case, she comes in at 57 fully buffed, stuffed, tough, and ready to get rough. She's gonna start this match against X Pert, two of our recent XHW signings and I think honestly if Rhee doesn't get called up she's gonna be wearing XHW gold before the year is out. That absolutely devastating headbutt just rattled Pert's entire being, and follows it up with a Marte Slam, which I don't think we see enough. 

 

Simon: Pert has to find her footing against this onslaught, to her feet and going for an Enzuigiri no Rhee ducks and blasts her with a waistlock flapjack, Pert's head just bouncing off the mat. Rhee tags in to Oliver Goodman, and a combination wheelbarrow jawbreaker. 

 

Ash: Oliver Goodman is one who got taken out of the W2, but looking to prove here that he won't be shut down so easily. Pulls Pert up by her hair, and into a short-arm lariat just wiping her out. Quick tag back to Rhee, smashes Pert's face into Rhee's boot, Rhee gets a hammerlock going oh but Pert stomps her foot, a second one, spins around and arm-trapped sleep now to Rhee, Rhee wasting no time charging her back to the turnbuckle, X Pert jumps to the middle buckle just in time and comes down with a diving bulldog! Locks in the crossface, starting to shift the tide of the match.

 

Valerie: Pert not bothering with the ropes, doing some one armed pushups to get going and it gives the leverage necessary to get her up! Back suplex hold into a backbreaker! Rhee putting the ankle lock in, Pert not wasting time to push off with a kick and roll to her corner, hot tag to Xiva, Xiva with a running dropkick, takes Oliver off the mat, Orna back to her feet, back body drop to Xiva XIVA LANDS ON HER FEET AND HANDS OVER THE EYES OF ORNA RHEE, XIVATI XA MAHLO!!! 

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

Simon: Xiva the silent assassin. In and gets the job done like a sniper. 

 

Ash: Now we get to the All-in match. Remember...everyone has to be legal before a pin or submission can occur. 

 

Match 3: Xenara Xyphie, Xenomi, and XEL vs Oolong, Okapi, and Obelisk

 

Valerie: XEL and Obelisk to start. Obelisk doesn't want to waste any time, battering ram headbutt and XEL diverts that charge, slide under the charge and catches behind with a dropkick. Obelisk staggering forward, XEL using his back as a ramp and crossbody takes Oolong and Okapi off the apron! Absolute poetry!

 

Simon: XEL slides back into the ring, behind Obelisk again, spinning back elbow, the other spinning back elbow, rolling along Obelisk's back and spikes him down with a DDT. Obelisk's head pointed into the ground.

 

Ash: People wear these stupid pointy helmets going for the gore, but they don't take into account what happens from there, Oolong back on the apron as XEL goes for the run, Oolong tag on the back of Obelisk, flips in and now he uses Obelisk as a ramp, somersault senton wipes out XEL! Oolong rolling thunder and blasts Xenara Xyphie with a lariat off the apron, Xenomi gets him by the mask though and slamming the head into the buckle! Oolong trying to get his footing back but XEL able to use that time to get to his feet and tilt-a-whirl headscissors, and a tag into Xenomi, Xenomi springboard front dropkick blasts Oolong to high heaven. 

 

Simon: And that's the tea. 

 

Valerie: BOOO. Anyway, Oolong would do well to tag back in, I don't know if Obelisk is going to get more time in the ring, I wouldn't put the doofus in. 

 

Simon: Oolong is just steeping, preparing for a good assault. Xenomi isn't going to let that happen, pulling Oolong up onto his shoulder like he's carrying a cave partner back to his hole, JUMPING OVER THE SHOULDER GUTBUSTER!!! BLACKFISHED!! And the cover-wait, Carter is calling him off! Xenara and Okapi are yet to fight, no pin can be awarded, Xenomi arguing with the ref and Oolong dropkicks him into Xenara, Xenara tags in. 

 

Ash: Xenara in like a tornado, spinning roundhouse kick, Oolong blasted down but rolls up to the other side of Xenara, basement dropkick to the back of her knees, leg DDT. Going to the top rope, I think we may be getting the Steep, NO! XENOMI PUSHES HIM OFF THE BUCKLE! 

 

Valerie: See that, that's teamwork. And some even say it makes the dream work. 

 

Simon: Oolong trying to crawl for a tag, Xenara going for an STF... oh, quick realization that she can't submit him until Okapi enters the match, turns it into a Wicked Stepsister! She's letting Oolong crawl now, OH here comes Xenomi and spears Obelisk right off the apron! 

 

Ash: Smart move taking away the choice, if Oolong wants out he's gonna have to with Okapi and he seems to be okay with that, in Okapi comes! Springboard up, Springboard Double Bionic Elbow to Xenara! OSSICONE! The cover-

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! T-

 

Valerie: XEL interrupts, the little dweeb. XEL to the top, going quite possibly for the Nova Ascension but Obelisk yanks the rope and XEL goes down! Okapi kneeling on the back of Xenara, yanking the head back, real far back, stretching her lips as he's doing so!! It's the Flehmen Yawn!! And the sheer pressure it puts on your skin is INSANE. 

 

Simon: With that Xenara Xyphie is gonna tap! This puts the O team back in the lead! 

 

Okapi makes Xenara Xyphie submit! X 2 O 4

 

Ash: Ugh. I felt the pain in my mouth just watching that.

 

Valerie: I'm not usually an advocate for plastic surgery but some reconstruction might be required.

 

Simon: We've seen animals, we've see anger... we're going to go emotional again but this time it's a swing in the other direction!

 

Match 4: XSTACY (Xanadu, Xavier Tastemaker Cole, Xiomara Jimenez, X-10-U-8) vs Overjoy Division (Ollie Vert, Ono Fender, Ol' Jill, Opaline)

 

Ash: Oh, team X is starting with the Spanish commentator who had to join to meet the X lineup. Although I think you guys have since signed another but whatever.

 

Simon: Brave of her, but she's going to go almost immediately on a Wagon Ride, running jumping powerslam by Ol' Jill! 

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Ol' Jill eliminates Xiomara Jimenez! X 2 O 5

 

X-10-U-8 enters the match.

 

Valerie: But now the prop comic is gonna have to face our cyborg, so he could quickly turn this around. 

 

Ash: Not like that, though, Ol' Jill blasts him with a boot, and a stomp to follow up, taking a run and a spinning elbow drop, wrap the leg for the pin attempt.

 

Carter: ONE! TW-

 

Simon: X-10 is up. She's gonna have to do more than that, oh and this might be one way, HUGE Front Slam, going for another cover-

Ol' Jill eliminates X-10-U-8! X 2 O 6

 

Xanadu enters the match.

 

Ash: I don't mean to be rude but Xanadu looks like she's already had 2 packs of smokes today. I don't know if she was ready for this match, and I also did not expect Ol' Jill to solo this team like this but we're going for another Wagon Ride! 

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Ol' Jill eliminates Xanadu! X 2 O 7

 

Xavier Tastemaker Cole enters the match.

 

Simon: We have all grossly underestimated Ol' Jill's wrestling ability, but she could be a big-timer if she keeps this up. It's not a long performance for her but it is a starmaking one potentially. 

 

Ash: She finally decides to share the air, tag in to Ono Fender, Fender in and taking XTC out with a leg lariat. Xavier goes for a chop, block by Ono and knife-edge in return. Ono takes the arm, tag into Ollie Vert, Vert sliding along the top rope and a diving forearm shot to XTC. 

 

Valerie: This X team has no energy, and if they can't even get a single elimination in, there's no way for them to get the full W in this and it will just be a point recovery mission. Ollie with a snap headscissors taking Xavier down to his feet. Xavier takes a spin kick but Ollie blocks it and dragon leg screws him into a tizzy. 

 

Simon: Ollie grabs XTC by the neck and to the corner we go! Puts him up on the corner, going back and taking a run, dropsault!! Comes down into a Flatliner!!! The KICKFLIP COMBO!!!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! TH-

 

Ash: He barely holds on and gets his arm on the ropes! Pin broken up, Ollie to her feet and Cole with a jumping bulldog! Ollie kips up and Zig Zags him! Pops to the top, serious height and tucks in... oh holy crap, 900 degree spin senton!! It's a horizontal spin...more like a top than a Ferris wheel, but crazy all the same! The Tony!

Ollie Vert eliminates Xavier Tastemaker Cole! X 2 O 9

 

Simon: There's officially no way for X to win this match entirely. At this point, they just need to try to make up some points. Still a worthwhile endeavor as we go into our 5 on 5.

 

Ash: Maybe this time they'll work more as a team. That was atrocious teamwork that last match. 

 

Valerie: Let's see if this gets them anywhere. 

 

Match 5: Xenophilia (Xinca, Xebec, Xanthippe, Xander Xylo, Xitlali) vs Onslaught (Oriana Burkhardt, Olive Ortiz, Omega X, Oscar Oblein, Odair Semedo)

 

Simon: Xebec and Omega to start, test of strength, Xebec bends Omega back! Not many able to do that, but Xebec making good use of that strength and now the leverage, Hammerlock DDT. Omega back up to his feet and a quick chop, blast him with a Spinebuster! Chokeslam just plants him, going for the pin, but Xebec kicks before 1.

 

Ash: Xebec pulls Omega up, Fisherman hook-up... spinning and Brainbuster! SHIPWRECK!

 

Carter: ONE!

 

Simon: Odair breaks up the pin.

 

Valerie: Omega gets punches into the face, Xebec hooks him up and goes for the Shipwreck again! Cover-

Valerie: One of our two braided fighters, Xitlali is the one with stars on her so this must be Xinca OMEGA DRIVES HER WITH THE END TIMES HIGH SPINEBUSTER!

 

Carter: ONE! TWO!

 

Simon: She barely gets the shoulder up but she's already rattled. To her feet, running back, charging and Omega's long legs send her away with that boot. She rolls, this time towards Omega but keeping low, kick to the shin, just enough to turn him around, and END TIMES PART 2!!! 

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Omega X eliminates Xinca! X 2 O 11

 

Xitlali enters the match.

 

Ash: Here comes the other one, Omega with a quick fist, going for a second and Xitlali reverses into a Northern Lights Suplex for the pin-

 

Carter: ONE!

 

Simon: Omega shoulders up, and picks Xitlali up with him... Omega Driver!!

Olive Ortiz enters the match.

 

Ash: Xitlali up from the pin and Olive greets her with a jumping roundhouse to the back of her head. Quick tag to Oriana, Oriana runs in with a running Polish Hammer. Oriana pulls her up and a clubbing blow. Xitlali reach for a tag and Xylo in, Xylo with a quick punch to Oriana. Good to see some actual tag teaming. 

 

Simon: Xylo going for a second punch and Oriana blocks, Kesagiri Chop. Oriana going for a run back... running cannonball! Grenade Launcher! The cover-

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! 

 

Valerie: Xanthippe breaks the pin. Oriana undeterred, backbreaker to Xylo, and punctuates with a stomp. That's just rude.

 

Ash: Tag back to Olive, Olive with a running forearm to Xander Xylo. Xylo responds with an arm twist and Eat Defeat. But Olive takes him down with a Package rollup! But he kicks without even a 1 and lifts her up into a devastating Powerbomb! Olive rolls back, Xylo trying to follow up with a boot but Olive gets him with a low blow. Cheap, unbecoming.

 

Valerie: Do what works. Olive attempts to capitalize with a facebuster OH DAMN XYLO BACK BODY DROPS HER! Quickly to her feet, Xylo gets himself up right but eats a superkick to the back of his head! Grabs him right into a headlock, elbow to his back, and snap roll-up pin! But he kicks out.

 

Simon: Xylo heading for a pin, Olive grabs his arms and tiger suplex! Going for the pin-

 

Carter: ONE! TWO! THREE!

 

Olive Ortiz eliminates Xander Xylo! X 3 O 12

 

Xanthippe enters the match.

 

Ash: Xanthippe in like a shot and running European Uppercut!! Coming up for a pin-

Simon: Olive kicks out, tries to reach for a pin, Xanthippe pulls her back into a La Magistral... Olive kicks out before 1 this time. 

 

Valerie: Olive pulling at Xanthippe's legs, Figure 4... Figure 8! Double O 8!

 

Ash: Xanthippe barely makes it to the ropes. Olive lets go but stomps her leg quickly and rolls her back quickly, going for the Prawn!

Simon: Xanthippe barely kicking out again! Xanthippe quick backbreaker to Olive, pulls her up on her shoulders into the Electric Chair hold, tag into Xitlali, Xitlali up to the top and corkscrew splashes her off!

Oriana Burkhardt enters the match.

 

Ash: Xitlali with a quick roll-up on Oriana, Oriana kicks out and takes her down with a Crucifix Driver!

Xanthippe enters the match.

 

Simon: Xanthippe in and quick chops Oriana. Oriana tags in Odair and Odair with a big boot to Xanthippe! Xanthippe grabs the leg before it goes down and flipping leg breaker!! Keeping legs hooked for the pin but he kicks out before the 1. Xanthippe tries again with a quick Crucifix...

Simon: And they do slightly better than the B team in their victory... conversely it could be said that the X team really did not have a good way to go here. 

 

Ash: Xanthippe really tried to bring it back up, but she was fighting against a heavy tide. 

 

Valerie: And from there, we go next to Wyoming.

 

Simon: Wyoming?

 

Ash: W vs Y.

 

 

WildFire leads his team into the ring.

Simon: WildFire is in some way the perfect person to captain this in that really what he needs to do is fight by himself. 

 

Valerie: I could see the way this team is set up as a little more stable than many other teams, but still with some variation.

 

 

Snow falls around the arena. Robotic reindeer lead a big sled with Yuletide up front and his team in the back.
